The greatest loss of body heat is through the top of your head and the arteries on the side of your neck. The NORSEMAN Hoodie has been redesigned with the help of the Norseman team (the Mecca for field research in human physiology in extreme environments), to help you safely swim in frigid waters, down to 6°C/43°F.

The NORSEMAN Hoodie is now constructed with a 3.0mm neoprene hood and 2.5mm neoprene body-vest that is lined with ThermaFur for incredible comfort and warmth. The seal around the face opening is now uncoated neoprene for a water-tight seal, and all seams on the head are finished with a liquid seal overlay (for much better waterproofing.) The logo on the forehead is also retro-reflective for greater safety: it’s easily visible with flashlight light.

The NORSEMAN Hoodie is designed to fit snug, while still allowing a full range of motion. When braving the coldest water we recommend pairing the NORSEMAN Hoodie with our POLAR Gloves and POLAR Socks.
